Happy New Year everyone! We’ve got a feeling that this year is gonna be a great year – we’re hoping for all the best for us, for you guys, and for everyone else who’s out there.
I’m thinking of putting watermarks on our photos since it looks like people are trying to steal find the hi-res copies of our photos from wordpress. tsk tsk.

Jan received a Blackbird, Fly from his family and that oughta spice things up a little. Possibly new photos next week courtesy of our new toy.

have you heard of our new schedule? 2 out of 4 days in school, we’re working and studying from 7am til 9pm at night, the two other days are from 10am to 9pm. we’ve just gone through week 1 of this monster schedule, and we’ve barely survived it YET. I brought home 2 bags (LITERALLY x.x) of papers to check and 12 problems to solve, all due by next week.

my holga nearly got wet when taking this shot of jessie. hahaha. we went to pagudpud last weekend to celebrate the opening of the second semester of this academic year. armed with our toy cameras, we flew to ilocos and took shots like crazy!

Tomorrow, we fly off to Laoag to enjoy an Ilocos weekend – we plan to conquer Laoag, Pagudpud and Vigan all in 2 days. Needless to say, we’ll be hauling films and several cameras on this trip so that when we get back, we’ll have new photos to revel in. So no photo upload this weekend. 
But to keep you company, let me introduce you to Mr. Chicken.
You see, Mr. Chicken has always wanted to be photographed. (Un)fortunately he lives in Jan’s backyard in Baguio and the presence of neighborhood dogs hinders him from achieving his dream. After all, getting out of the compound is one thing, but finding a photographer?
Last Christmas, Jan went to town and saw these nifty red vignette things. (they look like filters, but with a hole in the middle) and thought that it might fit our digicam. Unfortunately for our digicam, the vignette tool wouldn’t fit, but luckily Jan’s uncle is crafty in these things and made Jan a lens/vignette tool holder so he can use his new toy on the Holga. But most fortunate of all is Mr. Chicken:
