Well, I haven’t exactly sold-out to the whole SLR bandwagon just yet. It’s still 35mm, and it was just that my friend was kind enough to lend me his SLR for a weekend or two. Later he finds out that he’s been accepted to grad school in Italy, so the camera will be staying with me for a long while. 🙂
Well, I know these are simple shots, but give me some time to warm up to it. I have a general idea on how these things work, but that’s about it. :s

We’ve spent our long holidays here in Baguio City, and in two hours we’ll be taking the bus back to Manila. Maybe next time we can dare drive? But for the mean time, we’re savoring our last two hours on this wonderful couch.

For Jessie’s birthday, we went on a road trip to Anawangin. Last year, it was March, and there were around 5 other tents around us. This time, we went earlier thinking that everyone’s gonna be in Baguio for the Flower Festival — but no, there were at LEAST 20 other groups in Anawangin =.= But we had fun all the same.

Having the Smena is a wonderful thing. I’ve had it for a year now, and I’ve only started warming up to it, and actually using it the “proper” way. But in my natural absent-mindedness, there are things that I do forget despite muscle memory and force of habit. Fortunately, not all accidents are ugly. Here are two of my lucky shots from the last roll of film:
