Having the Smena is a wonderful thing. I’ve had it for a year now, and I’ve only started warming up to it, and actually using it the “proper” way. But in my natural absent-mindedness, there are things that I do forget despite muscle memory and force of habit. Fortunately, not all accidents are ugly. Here are two of my lucky shots from the last roll of film:

Yay! Sorry for being such a busybee. We’ve finally had 5 rolls (consumed over the past two months) developed this weekend at Digiprint. We finally have the films and scans from the latest member of our camera family. The Black Bird, Fly! Here is one of my long exposure shots taken in Cloud Nine Art Gallery in Antipolo, Rizal:
From the scans I can make out Kodak, so this is most likely expired Kodak Elite Chrome 100 😀 I forget due to the long idle wait.
Happy Shooting ♥

have you heard of our new schedule? 2 out of 4 days in school, we’re working and studying from 7am til 9pm at night, the two other days are from 10am to 9pm. we’ve just gone through week 1 of this monster schedule, and we’ve barely survived it YET. I brought home 2 bags (LITERALLY x.x) of papers to check and 12 problems to solve, all due by next week.

As it turns out, I still haven’t gotten the hang of using the Smena 8M, since there are so many things to consider. But from the first two rolls of our Ilocos Adventure, I did get a few lucky shots – there’s a third roll still inside the camera right now that’s in Black and White. I really don’t think so much before shooting, so maybe that’s another thing.

The following photos were taken using a Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim camera, loaded with Kodak Elite Chrome and Kodak Ekta Chrome. These are the must see sights in Pagudpud, Ilocos. This trip was really worth the wait!

This photo certifies that we were in Pagudpud. This is Patapat Bridge. That’s Jan and Karl behind me.
This is Saud Beach (Resort), it was lovely cause we were the only ones on the beach, save for a Japanese couple and a white guy who seems to have fins :p

Above is the Bojeador Lighthouse. The sight from the top is breathtaking. 🙂
I’m thinking of posting photos taken by the Smena 8M and our nifty el cheapo Snap Sights Underwater camera. I really wanna show you how much balls of fun the waves up there are, they’d take you meters away if you let them.

Ok, so the last one is in SCTEX, not baguio. :p but it’s on the way!
